Well January flew by! It has been so busy i haven't even had time to share about it! So here is the January wrap up! : January 15th I graduated from cosmetology school!! My parents and Aaron and his mom came to support when i clocked out for the last time as well as a couple of surprises!!

The Rivett Family! (I will be working at their salon)

And some long time friends from junior high and high school
Austin and Michele!
Austin and Michele!

After we went to Joe's Crab Shack which was so fun and we all ate our fill of yummy crab and shrimp (except for my dad who of course did not have any sea food at all!) Also, Aaron and I got up and learned the dances with the waiters which was funny and fun!!
That weekend was amazing and Aaron even surprised me with breakfast that monday! He had a three day weekend and I thought he was back at school until i woke up and went downstairs Monday morning :) Best Fiance Ever!!
Feb. 1st Aaron took me snowboarding for the first time ever.. it was 2 days ago but i am still sore!! ahhh!! and I didn't do too bad as long as he was holding my hands.. as soon as he let go I'd get scared and fall! Other than that I did great and loved it!! Plus.. i had a great teacher! But I must share.. Aaron told me on our first trip up the mountain (bunny slope) that if i didn't feel safe to sit down.. so we are getting off the ski lift and I didn't know what to do so i sort of shouted " I don't feel safe!!! I'm gonna sit down!!" and I did as soon as I stood up.. and the chair lift hit me in the head... twice :) I wasn't hurt just a little embarrassed and then Aaron informed me he didn't mean to sit down then :) it was great! I can't wait to go again and hopefully do better :) P.s. I look super goofy in the picture with our gear on :)
Also! My state-board date to get my cosmetology license is on February 11th!! PLEASE pray for me!! I've been studying and practicing a ton :) There is a 4 hour practical test where i have to successfully demonstrate health and safety procedures as well as client protection and basic skills (I'm not worried I wont know what to do.. more nervous about the proctors scrutinizing my every move) and then that is followed by a 2 hour written exam!! One week from friday.. here i come :)

Love you, and keep blogging :)
