In other news.. I am completely addicted to looking up wedding stuff! Anything.. Cakes, dresses, receptions, food, venues.. anything you can think of! We haven't even set a date.. and won't until we can afford to support ourselves but something in my feminine heart just adores dreaming about the day! Especially now that its a reality! :) I can't wait to find the perfect dress and know that's the one I'm meant to wear! I can't wait to taste wedding cakes and decide the yummiest flavor! I can't wait to walk down the aisle and see the look on my best friend and man of my dreams face! But even more than these things I dream about and look forward to.. I mostly look forward to spending the rest of my life with my best friend :)
I know everyone who reads this is already married but.. seriously.. How awesome is it that you get to wake up next to the person you love every morning? I informed Aaron the other night on the phone.. "I even look forward to sharing tooth paste with you! Just think.. we will be using the same tooth paste! Every morning and night! Isn't that awesome? And we use the same face wash so we can just buy one and share it! You and me! Together!" It's the little things people! :)
Anyways i feel this post needs pictures so here are a few of my favorite "wedding things" pictures I have saved to a special file on the computer! Any thoughts?

You and I are the exact opposite when it comes to wedding planning- I pretty much handed all the planning over to mom, who did a fabulous job of pulling it all together. So, the two of you together (you and mom) will make this wedding so perfect, down to the last detail!
And, yes, for better or worse, it is pretty cool to share toothpaste with my hubs :) As far as waking up beside him... there are two people between us every morning. But maybe someday I will once again wake up beside my perma-boyfriend :)

ReplyDeleteThe black and white cakes are beautiful - they are whimsical yet formal. I've always thought a black and white wedding with one signature color would be a fun way to style a wedding...I love to talk this kind of stuff!!
The toothpaste and face wash sharing is beyond sweet! Makes me smile!
My absolute favorite cake is the blue one. Simple yet so pretty! I can't wait to hear/watch as the wedding is eventually given a date and the formal planning can begin. So much fun! And I totally agree, the toothpaste sharing is the fun every day stuff. When Rob & I got married I switched toothpaste brands, and every night when I pick up my crest toothpaste I think of making the switch for him. It makes me smile. I am excited for you to have those moments as well. Enjoy this time-one day you will look back and realize how quickly it all went by!
